Sustainable saint of travel

Performing Pictures Robert Brecevic together with the St. Christopher video shrine took the train from Stockholm to Brussels - capital of EU - as a small token against jet fuel as well as expensive art transports (combining economic interest and enviromental considerations fulfilling the economists' claim about the evasive 'homo economicus').

The trip connecting the national and the transnational capital took 26 hours and it involved mixed up sleeping cabin bookings and a suicide outside of Odense. Robert Brecevic and St. Christopher arrived safely at Nadines' artist-in-residence-studio in Brussels, successfully installing the video shrine in the church of Our Lady of Benevolence in central Brussels. Two months later the Brussels partners Trudo and Loes from nadine took the shrine back by train. This time St. Christopher travelled following a straight line on the map, an adventurous train ride that took 3 (!) days to complete.
